Who is Dr. Anicet Mungala KIPASA?
After Dr. Kipasa’s experience with fighting the Ebola Virus in the city of Kikkwit, he realized that there was a need for him to share his training and knowledge with by helping the people of DRC. The Ebola Outbreak remains his Nehemiah Experience. He attended Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine for two years prior to returning to the DRC, formally known as Zaire. He then returned to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1990 as a Hubert Humphrey Fellow to pursue studies and practical training for two years and worked diligently with the GREAT EXPECTATIONS Program in the beginning during the planning year to help to create the program everybody has come to know in New Orleans. Then he returned again to DRC.
